JoZys Doodles 3 Puppies Picture

Where are you located?

Panama City, Florida

Are your puppies hypoallergenic?

We have all of our parents genetically health tested and match our parents by which traits best complement each other. With all our future litters, we can ensure they will have furnishings(teddy bear look of eyebrows and beard hair). When they are furnished it also means they will have minimal to no shedding. However, ALL puppies have a season when they blow their puppy coat into adulthood. It’s a poodle trait thing. Their puppy coat will not look the same as their adult coat. Our pups range from wavy to curly coats.

How are we different?

We own all of our females and use guardian homes for our parents when necessary. We treat all of our parents like our babies because they ARE our babies. Our females are family companions first and foremost. We limit the amount of litters our mommas have.

What happens if we have a crisis and we are unable to keep our dog?

As part of our JoZy’s Doodles contract, our families are committed to informing us if a situation arises where they can no longer keep their puppy. We require the puppy/dog to come back to us. There is no situation where we would allow any of our JoZy’s Doodles dogs to be brought to a shelter. We have a lifelong commitment in partnering with our families to ensure a stable and beautiful life for all our dogs. This stands for the duration of the entire the dog’s entire life.

Do you have a spay & neuter contract?

Yes, we do. We have a strict spay and neuter contract. This ensures that our dogs are going to pet homes only. Even more than that, if a dog is not spayed or neutered accidental pregnancies can easily occur if there is another dog in the home that is not neutered. Because of that, we do require ALL dogs in the home be neutered or spayed. We encourage you to have them spay/neutered by around 1 yr of age.

How do we pick our puppies?

First, a family has to have an approved application on file with us. Next, a deposit is placed to hold a spot on a specific litter. Puppy picks go in order of deposits placed. Once puppies are born, we as the breeders get ” Breeder’s pick”. We do not always keep a puppy from every litter, however we do reserve the right to do so. We notate gender preferences for every family. Our top priority is matching the right temperament with the right family. So, we try our best to accommodate gender preferences while also requesting our families to try to be flexible. We do not know the gender of our puppies until the are born. We have also discovered that personality preference holds a lot more value than gender. We want you to be successfully matched with the RIGHT puppy regardless of gender.

Do male dogs mark everything?

We get this question often. We have many families that can attest to this. Our male dogs do not have a tendency to mark. If you study dog behavior, a male dog will mark its territory when it feels the need to do so. The only time that happens is when a male dog is around a female in heat and senses competition with other male dogs in the area. If you neuter your male, this will not be a problem. We have references from past families that own our male dogs that would be happy to share their experiences with you.

Will my dogs coat and color change as they get older?

YES ! When our puppies come home, they have a soft silky puppy coat. They will blow out this coat around 4-6 months. When this happens the curlier coat starts to come in. If there is any shedding, it will be when you are grooming them and they are losing their puppy coat. This is 100% normal. ALL poodles mixes have a puppy coat that transitions to their adult coat.

They also have a tendency to change color. This can be a bit of a wild card. Some redder puppies turn more apricot. Some cream puppies can turn red. As they reach a year old, their color can fade or deepen.
